A Bangladeshi American, Hasan Shariare has been living in Oregon for more than 20 years. He became passionate about working with nonprofits when he co-founded a Bengali language learning school- Srijon Pathshala in 2012 for young kids. He always felt inspired by community volunteering/outreach programs and this experience gave him a deep appreciation for how nonprofits seek to improve the quality of lives of people both living in the US and in Bangladesh. Hasan is an Engineering Manager in technology development division at Intel Corporation in Oregon. He received an MSc in Electrical and Computer engineering from Portland State University after completing his BSc from Islamic University of Technology, Bangladesh. He is also serving as one of the board of directors of Ankur International. Outside of work, he enjoys spending time with his family, volunteering in the local community, running and outdoor sports.
