Building Pathways to Opportunity and Resilience
Songjog Foundation works alongside communities, partners, and supporters to expand access to healthcare, education, livelihoods, and sustainable development opportunities across Bangladesh.

Who We Are
Songjog Foundation is a registered 501(c)(3) nonprofit organization in the United States. We work alongside underserved communities in Bangladesh to build lasting change.
Our approach is to build systems rather than dependencies. Through evidence-based programmes and long-term partnerships, we strengthen resilience, improve well-being, and widen the opportunities available to the communities we serve.
We work in step with government institutions, development partners, civil society and the private sector to deliver programmes that are practical, accountable and community-led.
Mission & Vision
Our Mission
Our mission is to improve the quality of life for underprivileged individuals and marginalized communities by addressing their fundamental human needs. At the same time, we are dedicated to fostering community development, enhancing climate resilience, promoting human rights, and empowering individuals inclusively.
Our Vision
Develop a society with equality and economic sovereignty.

Strategic Achievements
Collaboration is at the heart of our work. Through partnerships with government institutions, development agencies, professional bodies, and community organizations, Songjog Foundation continues to contribute to sustainable social impact and systems-level change.
Our contributions include supporting the development of Bangladesh’s national medical oxygen guidelines and helping establish the country’s first standardized caregiver training curriculum in collaboration with NSDA. Alongside these initiatives, we support programs that expand access to healthcare, education, emergency response, and community development opportunities for underserved populations.

How We Work
Community-Led Development
We work with communities as partners, not beneficiaries. By listening first and building on local strengths, we help create solutions that reflect community priorities and support long-term resilience.
Collaboration Across Sectors
Complex challenges require collective action. We bring together government agencies, development partners, educational institutions, healthcare professionals, businesses, and volunteers to create greater impact through shared expertise and resources.
Sustainable Change
Our focus extends beyond immediate needs. By investing in skills, systems, leadership, and local capacity, we help build stronger communities that can continue creating positive outcomes long after individual projects are completed.
