How We Work?
Songjog Foundation works on a global platform. We have a team of accomplished professionals who believes that we can change the world with philanthropical initiatives and create the ecosystem for social businesses that can self sustain. Our three key initiatives include education, healthcare and disaster management. We have built an infrastructure to spread our programs in rural areas, and thereby creating opportunities for marginal communities.
Our scholarship programs ensures a long term relationship with the student ; instead of just accepting the donation we insist on giving back to the society. Hence each of the scholarship recipients are tied to a social development activity and mentored by a Songjog Foundation member. Similarly our healthcare program involves training and rehabilitation of Caregivers. We intend to build an ecosystem where these certified Caregivers can land into their suitable workplace either within the country or abroad. Our medihelp, ambulance and Carehome services are free for the people in need and here again we intend to make it self sustaining by incorporating into mainstream economic activities.
Our efforts to improve the skill sets by training programs help to further uplevel skills so that these trainees can come out of gender inequality in their respective workplaces. Songjog Foundation partners with other businesses and non profit orgs to deliver joint programs that are inline with our mission and vision ; for example education programs, social awareness programs, environmental awareness programs, skill enabling training programs etc. We embrace transparency and we fight for ethical practices. We encourage youth and women engagement and hence our volunteer base is substantially comprised of them. We listen and we appreciate constructive feedback; we like to encourage new ideas, so please join us in this journey.
Our Recognitions
Small but meaningful changes will aggregate to a bigger wave.
Songjog Foundation aims for empowering people and eliminating the economic and social discrimination. We believe that everybody deserves an opportunity and each human being has the potential to give back to the society. We connect the needy and helpless to the people who wants to help. A charity without a success criterion is nothing but productive; hence we define success by the qualitative and quantitative change of the status of these people.
