Shahriar Shamim (Pappu), PhD, is a Principal Engineer at Microsoft, where he drives the Design for Test and Debug pathfinding for Microsoft’s 1P silicon. He received his PhD in Computer Engineering from the Rochester Institute of Technology and holds a BSc in Electrical and Electronic Engineering from Bangladesh University of Engineering and Technology. Shahriar is also an advocate for social causes and serves as an advisor to SONGJOGFOUNDATION, actively contributing to empowering communities and improving lives. He currently resides in Portland, Oregon, with his wife and two young children. In his free time, Shahriar enjoys watching soccer, balancing his passion for technology with his love for the sport.
