Songjog Medihelp stands as a beacon of compassion and transformative change. The Songjog Foundation’s visionary initiative has been a remarkable journey of impacting lives and healing hearts. Over time, we have been privileged to provide crucial Medihelp to more than 100 individuals who have faced various health trials. These remarkable success stories include kidney patients, trauma survivors, and brave individuals battling cancer. Each person’s journey has been a testament to the power of community and collective effort in restoring health and dignity.
Procedure of Medihelp:
At the core of our approach lies a meticulous procedure that ensures each patient receives the support they need:
- Receiving Requests: Our devoted team of Medihelp volunteers is the first point of contact for individuals in need. They receive and empathetically listen to their requests for medical assistance.
- Medical Evaluation: These requests are then handed over to our team of medical professionals. These experts conduct comprehensive evaluations, conducting necessary medical examinations. For complex cases, we rely on the expertise of specialist doctors for further assessment.
- Verification: Our commitment to transparency and ensuring aid reaches those who genuinely need it is unwavering. Volunteers often make personal visits to the homes of patients to verify their conditions and circumstances.
- Fundraising: With the medical assessments complete, our dedicated team leaps into action, commencing fundraising efforts tailored to the specific needs of the patient. Our mission is to secure the necessary funds required for medical treatment.
- Fund Disbursement: Once the required funds are successfully raised, we directly disburse them to the parties responsible for the patient’s care. Throughout this journey, our volunteers and doctors closely monitor the patient’s progress, offering additional support services such as ambulance transportation, blood donation, and caregiver assistance, whenever the need arises.

Our proudest moments are the success stories that have emerged from the compassionate efforts of Songjog Medihelp:
- Shobha: A young girl who, through a tragic accident, found herself severely burned and in desperate need of assistance. With 1 lakh Taka for her operation provided by Songjog, Shobha’s life has been transformed. Today, she is back in school, a testament to the care and dedication of the Songjog Chuadanga team.
- Taslima Siddika Rimu: A university student diagnosed with a heart condition, who underwent life-saving surgery, has since achieved her BSc degree. Her heartfelt thanks go out to Songjog for making her dreams possible once more.
- Suraiya Akter: A kidney patient whose life was saved through a successful transplant, thanks to the unwavering support from Songjog and their generous donors. Her transplant in August 2023 marked a turning point in her life, for which she remains profoundly grateful.
- Ismail Haque Chowdhury: Ismail, a BUETian who faced the challenges of GBS, found a renewed sense of health and hope with support from Songjog and their donors. He has resumed his normal activities and expresses his heartfelt thanks for the support he received.
