Shamaita S Shetu is a Senior Product Development Engineer in Intel corporation, USA. Her current work is primarily focused on developing new generation technology towards building a better future for everyone. She initially learned about “Songjog Foundation” through the caregiver home project and Oxygen supply project during COVID and was thrilled about the organization’s vision of helping people any way they can in a crisis. She believes in serving people specially in their crisis through any means possible and proud to be a part of “Songjog Foundation”, one of the most promising platforms in helping peoples of Bangladesh.
She received her BSc in Electrical Engineering from BUET, and then relocated to the USA to obtain her PhD in Electrical and Electronics Engineering. In her leisure time, she loves to spend time with her family, her two children Shadhin and Authoi. Her hobbies include traditional dancing, traveling, hiking, cooking, interior decoration and reading self-help books.
